Doctors Medical Center offers the highest level of stroke care in the area between Sacramento, the Bay and down to Los Angeles. We are one of only 27 Comprehensive Stroke Centers in California, and the only one in the Central Valley.

Our experienced team provides quality care for the most complex stroke cases, with dedicated units for critical and in-patient neurological treatment. DMC’s stroke care is recognized nationally by The American Heart Association for Stroke Gold Plus, Target Stroke Elite, the Target Type 2 Diabetes Honor Roll, and as High Performing by US News & World Report.

Doctors Medical Center is also a Level II Trauma Center and Heart Attack Receiving Center, providing advanced care when you and your loved ones need it most.

In honor of Veterans Day, we would like to take a moment to recognize and thank all of the veterans at Doctors Medical Center.

Veterans Day is a time to remember and pay tribute to the brave men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces who served in previous wars, who are serving today, and especially those who have made the ultimate sacrifice to protect our country. Enduring personal sacrifices, these men and women and their families need the support of our community.

We want to honor those who have served our country in order to defend our nation, our rights, families and our freedoms. We owe a tremendous amount of gratitude to your selfless dedication to continue to safeguard our nation during times of peace and war. Your continued sacrifices have given us a safe country to call home.

We also want to recognize our military spouses who are the backbone and support to our veterans and thank you for your continued support.
