We are one of only 27 Comprehensive Stroke Centers in California, and the only one in the Central Valley.

Take Our New Surgical Robot for a Test Drive

MODESTO, Calif. – Ever wondered what it’s like to perform complex, minimally invasive surgery using advanced robotic-assisted technology? Well, here’s a chance for you and your viewers/readers to get a close-up look at Doctors Medical Center’s new da Vinci Xi robotic-assisted, minimally invasive surgical system by taking it for a test drive! The da Vinci Xi technology has broader capabilities than prior generations of the da Vinci system and can be used across a wide spectrum of minimally invasive procedures, including colorectal, surgical weight loss, gallbladder removal and gynecological surgeries. We’re the first hospital in the Modesto area to have this new technology. At our Dec. 5 Open House, you’ll be able to try the system’s 3-D simulation trainer – the same, ultra-realistic technology used by physicians to simulate actual surgery and hone their skills.  Let us know when you’re coming and we’ll make one of our surgeons available for an interview.
