Doctors Medical Center Physician Celebrates 1,000 Robotic Cases

Jihan Hegazy, M.D., general surgeon at Doctors Medical Center, hit a special milestone in her career.
Dr. Hegazy has now performed 1,000 robotic procedures on the da Vinci Surgical System. She is the first female surgeon in the Central Valley to accomplish this milestone. Congratulations, Dr. Hegazy!
Dr. Hegazy has been practicing in the Central Valley since 2015. She came to Modesto after serving as the attending general surgeon for more than ten years at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, as well as at Jeanes Hospital and Elkins Park Hospital in Pennsylvania.
Dr. Hegazy is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
