Doctors Medical Center Physician Celebrates 500 Robotic Cases

Rachel Teng, M.D., trauma and general surgeon at Doctors Medical Center, hit a special milestone in her career. She has now performed 500 robotic procedures on the da Vinci Surgical System. Congratulations, Dr. Teng!

Dr. Teng is experienced in robotic and laparoscopic surgeries. She repairs hernias and treats various types of gallbladder and intestinal disease using minimally invasive techniques. She also treats colon, breast, skin and thyroid cancers.

Dr. Teng went to medical school at Eastern Virginia School of Medicine and completed her residency at Wright State University School of Medicine.
